Acupuncture

Acupuncture, an ancient alternative treatment, has been used around the world for thousands of years. Acupuncture involves inserting very thin needles into the skin at specific locations on the body. Results include stimulation that can alter physical functions and reactions of the body, which may soothe or relieve specific conditions.

Because many researchers do not know how or why acupuncture works, it is considered an alternative therapy. However, many patients have used this method for a natural approach to healing.
