• Diabetes

Diabetes is a disease that interferes with your body's ability to process glucose, causing elevated levels of glucose in your blood. Left undiagnosed or untreated, diabetes can lead to a wide range of serious health problems including heart disease, stroke, blindness, and foot ulcers.

Diabetes can be diagnosed by your physician through a blood test. Blood tests can also reveal the likelihood of diabetes in your future, especially if you have a history of the disease in your family.
